Closing

Does the tool incorporate AI features, and if so, which ones?

Many features leverage AI: automatic translation of data regardless of language, consolidated risk analysis by entry (according to priorities specific to each company, and sometimes even per user)…

Does the software adapt to regulatory changes?

Yes, this is part of our commitments.

Do you have a user community?

The Sixthfin Club, held four times a year, gathers feedback, presents developments, and invites experts on current topics. Discussions within this Club directly contributed to the creation of Closing.

Is there technical support available in case of problems?

Yes, certainly. Support is included in the subscription. Each client also has an Account Operational Manager, their Sixthfin contact who will assist them from initial demonstrations to optimizing the use of the solution.

Who is this software aimed at (CFOs, internal auditors, accountants, statutory auditors…)?

Closing is aimed at financial and accounting teams looking to accelerate, enhance reliability, deepen, and document their accounting closure processes.

Will I need to involve my IT department for deployment?

Sometimes, but very occasionally. Your IT department is involved during setup, mainly to ask questions about security aspects and to agree on the implementation of SSO and the modes of data communication.

Are the control rules predefined or customizable?

Both. You have access to a base of predefined controls. These can be adjusted through global parameters for a company or specific parameters for a given control. These parameters are retained in Closing for subsequent periods and fiscal years. You can also create custom controls.

Are there ready-to-use templates (standard controls) available?

Yes, Closing already includes numerous predefined controls and master sheets relevant for your accounting closures. All our clients have access to the full range of controls and not a restricted selection.

What ERPs are compatible with Closing?

All ERPs and accounting systems are generally compatible. The Sixthfin platform is currently deployed across 38 different ERPs.

Can Closing accommodate multiple accounting plans and ERPs simultaneously?

Yes, Closing is natively designed for that.

What types of companies use Closing?

Closing is adaptable to companies of all sizes and types (excluding banking and insurance sectors for their entities using specific accounting plans).

How do I train employees on Closing and how much time should be allocated?

Very little time! Typically, we recommend (and often conduct) a training program consisting of 2 sessions of 2 hours each. The first session familiarizes users with Closing features, while the second occurs a few weeks later to address practical questions and allow users to share best practices. We recommend having ‘super users’ who can lead these trainings and awareness sessions internally.

Platform

Who is behind this platform?

Sixthfin is a European company with European shareholders. The entire platform has been developed in Europe.

Are there any limitations to this platform?

No limitations have been reached today, whether regarding the volume of data to analyze, source ERP systems, countries, currencies, etc.

What security measures are in place for my data?

Data is stored in Europe and enjoys a high level of security, which we can detail in direct exchanges. We also regularly conduct penetration tests carried out by certified external experts. We respond to our clients’ security questionnaires and have consistently received satisfactory evaluations from the security departments that have reviewed our responses.

How can I contact Sixthfin users?

We usually facilitate connections between our prospects and one or more of our clients. Please feel free to ask us for this.

Who is this software aimed at (CFOs, internal auditors, accountants, statutory auditors…)?

Geoficiency is aimed at all roles that can directly or indirectly rely on accounting flows, clearly including financial and accounting departments, as well as audit and internal control, taxation, compliance, and M&A departments (in the context of potential or decided scope changes). Beyond all these players, the audit committee and executive management are obviously significant indirect clients of Geoficiency, as it provides them the security and peace of mind they need to manage the business.

Do you have feedback or case studies from customers?

In addition to the video testimonials already available, we can connect you with clients you can choose from our list. Some of them have previously used competing solutions and are therefore capable of providing direct reasons for their switch.

Will I need to involve my IT department for deployment?

Sometimes, but very occasionally. Your IT department will be involved during setup, mainly to ask about security aspects and to agree on implementing SSO and the chosen modes of data communication.

Are there ready-to-use templates (standard controls) available?

Yes, there are over 300, and this list is constantly evolving based on user requests.

Are the control rules predefined or customizable?

Both. You have access to a base of over 300 predefined controls. These can be adjusted via global parameters for a company or specific parameters for individual controls. These parameters are retained in Geoficiency for future periods and fiscal years. You can also create custom controls.

Can the software analyze multiple data sources (ERPs, accounting software, flat files)?

Yes, Geoficiency can draw from various sources (ERPs, accounting plans, languages, currencies, etc.). If needed, Geoficiency can adapt to specific formats (flat files, standard tables, etc.). Even if the sources are different, Geoficiency presents analyses in a unique, comparable format across the relevant subsidiaries.

What ERPs are compatible with Geoficiency?

All ERPs and accounting systems are generally compatible. The Sixthfin platform is currently deployed across 38 different ERPs. Our clients with the broadest diversity of sources operate more than 30 different ERPs or ERP versions across about fifteen countries.

What is the timeframe for implementing Geoficiency?

The implementation timeframe for Geoficiency can be very short; sometimes just a few hours. This speed can be demonstrated during a Proof of Concept (POC). Our responsiveness in sharing Geoficiency’s analyses can resolve any doubts on this matter.

Can Geoficiency consider multiple accounting plans and different ERPs simultaneously?

Yes, Geoficiency is natively designed for that. What’s important is that even if the data sources are heterogeneous, the analyses performed will be homogeneous and therefore comparable.

What types of companies use Geoficiency?

Geoficiency adapts to companies of all sizes and types (except for banking and insurance sectors for their entities using specific accounting plans). Generally speaking, Geoficiency serves any company or group looking for a simple and powerful solution for analysis and control of their accounting flows and practices, regardless of data volume.

How do I train employees on Geoficiency, and how much time should be allocated?

Very little time! Typically, we recommend (and often conduct) a training program consisting of 2 sessions of 2 hours each.
